I had the chance to run three editions of TOR330 - Tor des Géants® in 2017, 2018 and 2019. The TOR330 - Tor des Géants® is above all an extraordinary adventure in a region equally extraordinary. I love Aosta Valley and its people. I live in Valais, in Switzerland, at the border with Aosta Valley, I know lot of people there, as Jean Pellissier, skialp athlete, a very nice man.
In this period of isolation, I often think about Tor des Géants® and the efforts made to complete this adventure. During the TOR, you look deep inside yourself for strength and courage to move forward, day after day, base life after base life, peak after peak. It is truly something grand and unique. You discover in your depths unexpected forces. Today we are living in difficult days. We have to adapt to new situations. My experiences lived on the TOR help me to pass this course with calm, serenity and confidence. I thank the people of the valley for their always warm welcome. In this very difficult period, I share the pain of the families affected by illness and death.
