Oliviero Bosatelli flies to Courmayeur

Oliviero Bosatelli has passed the “Door to Paradise” and now the long descent to the arrival has begun. The Italian was on top of Col du Malatrà at 9.29 this morning, firmly in the lead of this tenth edition of Tor des Géants®.

Behind him Canadian Galen Reynolds, slowed down yesterday for some breathing problems and now more than 4 hours behind. In third place French Romain Olivier, in recovery less than one hour late.
Fourth Danilo Lantermino in good shape, and fifth one of the surprises of this TOR, South-African Erwee Tiaan, who took advantage of Gianluca Galeati’s withdrawal in Oyace, in the night.
In the women ranking, an incredible Silvia Trigueros Garrote is leading, with the seventh position overall. Many hours behind her Jocelyne Pauly and Sonia Furtado.

TOR130 – Tot Dret still undefined
Giuliano Cavallo, Dino Melzani and Henri Grosjacques
are keeping on swapping the first positions of TOR130 – Tot Dret. In Cuney they were included in a one-minute time span, but now Cavallo is trying to detach his followers and in Oyace he is tow minutes ahead Melzani and ten minutes ahead Grosjacques.
In Valtournenche, Marina Cugnetto is first before Marie Berna and Ana Cristina Constanti..

Tor des Glaciers
The Tor des Glaciers ranking does not change. Leader of the Argonauts, Luca Papi, “sees” the finish line: for him the passage to Rifugio Prarayer this morning and 100 more km to go before Courmayeur. Second Masahiro Ono and third Luca Guerini. Marina Plavan is still firmly leading the women ranking.
