TORX® is a journey, a dream, the dream of a journey and a dream journey. It makes you walk on air, live thrilling landscapes, snowy mountains and starry skies. There is this and much more in the TORX® 2023 poster, signed, as in the two previous editions, by illustrator Francesco Bongiorni.
“If in the 2021 poster I represented an athlete during the effort and in 2022 I focused on the moments before the race, this year I thought I had to close the circle and concentrate on the final moment of the race – Bongiorni explains. In this year’s illustration the protagonist has just finished the race and is allowing himself a moment of rest. The image is a visual metaphor of the finish line. I drew this Giant that, after he reached the top of the mountain, does not settle but decides to go on, reaching the moon. The illustration wants to honour the determination and obstinacy of all the athletes that every year come to Aosta Valley to run these exhausting competitions that can take them up to the sky”.
The collaboration between VDA Trailers and Bongiorni is therefore renewed, thanks to the sharing of the values that feed TORX® and to the deep knowledge of the Aosta Valley, to which Francesco has been linked since childhood
