TORX® presents the new tracks of TOR330 – Tor des Géants®, TOR130 – Tot Dret and TOR30 – Passage au Malatrà certified by GARMIN.
IMPORTANT: in order to optimize the management of the information contained in the GPX file, the Organization advises the athletes to download the individual portions of the track (from life base to life base) rather than the entire file, especially for the track of TOR450 - Tor des Glaciers.
TOR450 - Tor des Glaciers
The TOR450 route is not marked; competitors need to download the official track onto their own devices.
The TOR450 Roadbook can be downloaded in this page. The official TOR450 track can be downloaded as a single file (2023 - TOR450 - FULL TRACK - GPX), but the TORX Organization recommends athletes to download individual track sections (from life base to life base, e.g., 2023 - TOR450 - T1 START - RIF.SELLA - GPX)
The BACKUP tracks for TOR450 (e.g., 2023 - TOR450 Backup route 1 - GPX) are alternative routes that are authorized exclusively by the TORX Organization if it becomes impossible to continue along the original itinerary during the race.
Materials from the previous year are generally accurate: they are updated and made public close to the race.
Substantial changes to the route (e.g., new high-altitude route) will be communicated through official TORX channels.
The TOR30, TOR130, and TOR330 routes are fully marked with flags and do not require GPS devices to be navigated.
All tracks are generated using Garmin devices and remastered with the free software Basecamp (also from Garmin).
To address file size issues, the TORX Organization limits the number of points in the track to <5000.
In case of compatibility problems with your device, please contact the TORX Organization.
